The Chakib Alj-Mehdi Tazi pair, candidate for his own succession, was re-elected on Tuesday, May 16 for a second term at the head of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
Sole candidates, Alj and Tazi were reappointed with 99% of the votes cast, i.e. 3255 out of a total of 3286.
As a reminder, the duo who have been leading the employers since 2020, had unveiled on May 4 the main axes of this second 4-year term, with as main axes, among others, the fight against the economic and social exclusion of the regions, the training professional, the energy transition, but also the implementation of the 2022 agreement.
