The Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) launched on Thursday the first digital showcase dedicated to the promotion of Moroccan local products (www.terroirdumaroc.gov.ma), from cooperatives in different regions of the Kingdom.
Launched as part of the activities of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, aimed at developing the local products sector and facilitating their access to modern national and international markets, this e-showcase will be the direct link between national and international consumers and professionals, on the one hand, and producers of local products, on the other, who will spare no effort to provide them with products of high quality and provide the maximum of information concerning these products, indicates the ADA in an official statement.
Said e-showcase offers a wide range of local Moroccan products by presenting, in a first stage, more than 680 articles, produced by 70 groups of local products (representing more than 5,000 producers, 46% of whom are rural women), to reach 200 groups at the end of 2022, specifies the same source.
Safe, fast and efficient, this digital showcase has been designed in three languages (Arabic, French and English) to facilitate access to the local world by meeting different needs with a simple click on both computer and smartphone.
The launch of this e-showcase as well as all the news of Moroccan local products, will be broadcast on the Facebook and Instagram pages “Terroir du Maroc By ADA”, concludes the Agency.
