The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch held, on Wednesday in Rabat, a working meeting by videoconference devoted to the presentation of the annual report of the Insurance and Social Security Control Authority (ACAPS) for the year 2020,
The report was presented by the interim president of ACAPS, Othman Khalil El Alamy, in accordance with the provisions of article 9 of law 64-12 establishing the Authority, said a statement from the department of the head of government. .
The same source indicates that during the meeting, the Head of Government was informed of a report on the results of control for the same year, concerning pension or annuity operations, governed by a law, in accordance with article 11 of the said law.
This meeting was also an opportunity for El Alamy to review the situation of the insurance and social welfare sectors for the year 2020, as well as the results of the Authority’s activities in the area of control, notes the press release.
The Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority is responsible for supervising insurance and reinsurance companies and the distribution network as well as social welfare organizations. It ensures the protection of policyholders, affiliates, members and beneficiaries of rights.
