The EAC-L’BOULVART Association has announced the return of its music festival L’Boulevard, which celebrates its 20th edition this year from September 23 to October 02, 2022 at the RUC stadium in Casablanca.
True to its vocation as a scout for new talent and after a two-year hiatus imposed by the pandemic, L’Boulevard is launching its call for applications for the Tremplin competition on June 6, indicates a press release from the organizers, noting that intended for artists and Moroccan formations or established in Morocco, this competition covers three categories, namely Rock / Metal, Rap / Hip Hop and Fusion / Other current music.
Artists wishing to participate in this twentieth edition are asked to complete the application form and to accompany it with an audio model, a video, photos, a stage plan and a technical sheet, specifying- t-on the same source, noting that the form must be validated and the documents sent to the address [email protected] before July 15, 2022 at midnight.
And to continue that selected on file by a jury of professionals, the candidates will then be judged on their performances on stage according to relevant and precise criteria, underlining that the jury will then designate two winners per category, who will benefit from a three-day training at the Boultek, center of contemporary music, before performing as the opening act for the headliners of the festival.
The “Musician Profession” training covers several aspects of the profession, with which artists and musicians are confronted, namely writing, technique, the stage, lighting and communication.
The winners will also receive an incentive check worth 15,000 DH and 10,000 DH (1st and 2nd prizes), as well as an audiovisual recording of a showcase at the Boultek, announces the document, indicating that the application form is available in French and Arabic on the website: www.boulevard.ma.
During the last edition of L’Boulevard in 2019, around 200 models, all styles combined and from all over the country, were submitted for the opinion of the Tremplin jury.
Since its launch in 1999, nearly 600 bands have performed on the Tremplin L’Boulevard stage.
