The 1st Jumada II of the year 1444 of the Hegira will correspond to Sunday, December 25, 2022, announced on Saturday the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
In a statement, the ministry said it had observed the lunar crescent announcing the beginning of the month of Jumada II after the Al Maghrib prayer on Saturday 29 Jumada I 1444 of the Hegira, corresponding to December 24, 2022, noting that as a result the 1st Jumada II of the year 1444 H will correspond to Sunday, December 25, 2022.
“May God, in this blessed month, fill His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, protector of the Nation and religion, may God assist Him, with His blessing, His favors and His benefits, as well as HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and all the members of the illustrious Royal family, and for the Moroccan people and the entire Islamic Umma in progress and prosperity”the statement added.
