The 15th edition of the international symposium on public finance will be held on December 16 and 17 in Rabat, at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in partnership with the Association for the International Foundation for Public Finance (FONDAFIP) .
A press release from the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR), which will house this work at its headquarters, specifies that the central theme will question “What model of governance of public finances in a world of multiple crises? “.
After the opening speeches, the symposium will start with the presentation of introductory reports and testimonies, said the same source, adding that the work of the symposium will be continued within the framework of three panels.
The first will address the role of key players in the target governance model in terms of the regulation of public finance decision-making, namely the role of the legislative and executive powers and that of local authorities, while the second will focus on the issue of public financial management regulation decision-making and related governance arrangements, linked to the budget programming model, artificial intelligence and evaluation capacity building.
The third will deal with the key ideas of the new management of public finances in this case, the new acceptance of the standardization of public financial models, the accountability of public financial actors and the qualification of human resources.
