The American electric car maker Tesla intends to withdraw more than 475,000 of its cars from the automotive market, due to safety flaws, according to the US national road safety authority.
The company will recall 356,309 Model 3 cars, which it produced between 2017 and 2020, in order to resolve the issues with the backup camera, the image not showing due to premature wear of the coaxial cable , the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in a statement.
The same source said Tesla will recall 119,009 other Model S cars, produced between 2014 and 2021, due to defects in the front trunk lid, which may not lock properly.
