TAQA Morocco-UM6P agreement for skills development

TAQA Morocco and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) signed, Wednesday in Benguerir, a collaboration agreement on the strengthening of training activities, skills development and ongoing research in the field of energy, by accelerating energy transition and by promoting new models of sustainable energy development.

As part of this collaboration, UM6P will deploy its expertise and resources through its Executive Training department, which plays a key role in promoting specialist skills and knowledge. Professionals in the energy sector will be able to benefit from advanced training programs, emphasizing the different sources of energy, including renewable energies such as solar, wind and hydro, as well as emerging fields. such as green hydrogen.

In addition to training and research, the two structures are also committed to establishing a permanent dialogue promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience, emphasizing the transfer of knowledge and the sharing of good practices in the field of capitalization of energy sources. Collaboration platforms will be set up, allowing key players in the sector to share their expertise, exchange ideas and promote innovative initiatives.

A collaboration that will also make it possible to develop collaborative technical encyclopedias for the transfer of knowledge and the dissemination of good practices. UM6P’s expertise in the development of MOOCS (Massive Open Online Courses) and e-learning training courses will facilitate the digitalization of TAQA Morocco’s technical expertise, thus offering remote and broader access to training quality.
