The formalities of the port passage for import and export for container and TIR truck activities at the Tanger Med port, are fully paperless, as of Monday, November 15.
Operators can complete the formalities of the port passage online and electronically file all the necessary documents with the services responsible for the management of Import-Export activities, specifies a press release from Tanger Med.
Users can access this service from the “Port Community System” of Tanger Med www.tangermedpcs.com accessible on smartphones, tablets and computers, and already offering a range of operational services such as the traceability of freight units, invoicing to distance and online payment, it is specified.
In addition, Tanger Med indicates that the total dematerialization of the port passage will become “mandatory” from February 15, 2022.
During its test phase in 2021, Tanger Med supported several operators who signed up to this participatory digitalization process to process all their online formalities.
Tanger Med will continue to provide support to all operators wishing to benefit from this new service, through training sessions as well as local support to make this transition phase a success.
