Talbi Alami represents King Mohammed VI at the investiture of Erdogan

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, represented, on Saturday in Ankara, King Mohammed VI, at the investiture ceremony of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The Turkish president has just been re-elected for a third term.

The inauguration ceremony of the Turkish president took place at the presidential complex in Ankara, in the presence of heads of state, representatives of governments, legislative institutions and international organizations.

Alongside the speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, was also Morocco’s ambassador to Turkey, Mohamed Ali Lazrak.

At the end of this ceremony, President Erdoğan will hold a reception in honor of the guests at Çankaya Palace.

Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish head of state took the constitutional oath in the Turkish parliament, marking the official start of his third term, then visited the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

On Thursday, the Supreme Election Commission announced the final results of the second round of the May 28 presidential election, which saw the re-election of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with 52.18 percent of the vote.
