The airline Air France announced, Friday evening, the maintenance of its program of flights to and to Morocco on November 26, 27 and 28, 2021, in order to facilitate the return of its customers.
The move comes after the Moroccan authorities’ decision to close the air borders between Morocco and France as of November 28, 2021 at 11:59 p.m., Air France reported.
A press release from the company explains that “Air France has taken note of the decision of the Moroccan authorities to close the air borders between Morocco and France as of November 28, 2021 11:59 pm. In order to facilitate the return of its customers, Air France is maintaining its program of flights to and from Morocco on November 26, 27 and 28, 2021 and will adapt (or strengthen) it if necessary ”.
It also indicated, with regard to its flight schedule from November 29, that at this stage, all flights from France and to Morocco are canceled (from November 29) to December 05.
Reserved customers are informed individually and can request a refund or credit according to the company’s commercial policy, the same source said.
Regarding the flight program from December 05, it will be communicated later.
In the Morocco-to-France direction, Air France is awaiting the terms applicable from November 29, 2021. Reserved customers will be informed individually as soon as possible.
In addition, Air France emphasizes that customers affected by cancellations can request a refund of their reservation.
“For customers whose flight is currently being maintained, our commercial measures allow you to postpone your trip without modification costs, or to cancel your trip and obtain a refundable credit or a refund (depending on the fare conditions of your ticket)”, further notes the company.
