Some 1,500 children and young people have benefited from the national outreach program called “Summer 2021”, in each stage organized in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
In a statement to MAP, the delegate of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mohamed Boulsan, indicated that this program comes after the cessation of activities due to the health crisis, noting that it is divided in five phases in a number of centers and spaces in the provinces of the region, including youth centers, women’s clubs and local socio-sports centers.
This program, which is in its fourth phase, has benefited 24 national and local organizations and associations, in addition to direct action targeting children who are not members of associations, continued Mr. Boulsan, noting that 12 establishments were mobilized in the past. region level to host the activities of this program.
In this vein, he underlined that this program, which meets the expectations of children and adolescents after a long interruption of their activities and leisure, has been a great success.
On this occasion, the children benefited from awareness workshops around road safety and preventive measures against Covid-19, in addition to sports, cultural and artistic activities, in strict compliance with the health measures in force to in the face of the proliferation of the new coronavirus.
Aimed at children aged between 7 and under 15 and young people aged between 15 and 18, the “Summer 2021” program is divided into five phases, each lasting six days.
This animation program, launched by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Department of Youth and Sports, in partnership with the National Federation of Holiday Camps, includes various educational and sports activities for the benefit of children. in youth centers and local sports centers.
