In celebration of Africa Day, Spotify shines the spotlight on the most popular African artists in the world, many of them from Morocco.

With fans from London to Paris and Amsterdam to Sydney listening to their music streaming through Spotify, the popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Burna Boy, figure on the first step of the podium.

The Moroccan beatmaker and guitarist Saib embraces global melting pot culture and has made waves on the international Lo-Fi scene with music fans from the US, UK, Brazil, Germany and Canada. His success has placed him at the top of the most listened to Moroccan artists in streaming outside Morocco.

The rapper ElGrandeToto is in the top 5 of the most listened to Moroccan artists outside Morocco and even crosses the Mediterranean with Caméléon, an electric and very synergistic album. From ” Santa Fe ” at ” Halla halla “, ElGrandeToto masterfully mixes Arabic, French and English, highlighting the musical richness of the Moroccan scene, while managing to reach the international scene with its unprecedented collaborations.

The phenomenal worldwide success of the tube Beautiful Tango by Moroccan artist Hindi Zahra and his latest album Homeland assured the artist a place on the list of Moroccan artists most listened to outside Morocco.
