The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, called on Tuesday in Rabat, all ministerial departments to intensify efforts and accelerate the implementation of the project to generalize social protection, as desired by King Mohammed VI.
Chairing a meeting on the generalization of social protection, Akhannouch recalled the royal instructions on the generalization of social protection to all Moroccans, stressing that the implementation of this societal project will have a direct and tangible impact in terms of improvement of the living conditions of Moroccans and the preservation of their dignity, as well as the construction of the social state.
This meeting, attended by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, the Minister Delegate with the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, in addition to the Director General of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), Hassan Boubrik, allows the government to monitor the implementation of the project of generalization of social protection and to find out about the progress of the work and this, in accordance with the schedule relating to this project, indicates the same source.
As a reminder, King Mohammed VI chaired on April 14, 2021 at the Royal Palace of Fez, the ceremony to launch the implementation of the project for the generalization of social protection and the signing of the first related agreements.
This Royal project, which will initially benefit farmers, craftsmen and craft professionals, traders, professionals and independent service providers subject to the single professional contribution scheme (CPU), the auto-entrepreneur scheme or the accountancy, will have to extend, in a second time, to other categories in the perspective of the effective generalization of the social protection to all the citizens.
