A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform Ghita Mezzour and NTT DATA Morocco.

Ranked 6th consulting and IT services company in the world, the Japanese company has great ambitions for its expansion in Morocco, say the signatories of the MOU in a press release.

Quoted in the press release, the Managing Director of NTT DATA Morocco, Fred Sabbah, underlines that “the amount of investment for this project amounts to 15 million DH, and will allow the creation of 1,000 direct stable jobs and the achievement of a turnover of nearly 1 billion Dirhams accumulated over the period 2022-2025. This demonstrates our commitment and our desire to increase our presence in Morocco. After the North and the Greater Casablanca region, we are also considering development in the South to have a presence in this region with high potential”.

This commitment sealed by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the two ministries mainly concerns the creation of new jobs, specifies the same source.

Regarding the creation of positions for Moroccan talent, we already have an extremely positive record. Since our installation in Morocco in 2016, we have had the pleasure of recruiting and training nearly 1,000 young graduates from local universities and schools, some of whom are now confirmed project managers. This strategy makes us the leading IT employer in the northern region. We aim to become one also in the South region “said Fred Sabbah again.
