The commissioning of the new Sidi Makhlouf road hopper, located near the Mohammed V Mausoleum, is scheduled for next Sunday (November 21), announced the Municipality of Rabat.
The opening to traffic of this important road infrastructure, carried out at the intersection of Avenue Hassan II and Avenue Al-Alaouyine, will take place on Sunday from 10 a.m., the town said in a statement.
“The pace of work has been accelerated in compliance with technical standards to reduce completion times, which made it possible to move the site forward in record time,” she said. This effort, it is said, comes in response to the expectations of the inhabitants of Rabat and Salé in terms of relieving the pressure due to the closure of certain roads due to the project.
The work to build the hopper was launched on October 8 for a maximum of two months, said the town, noting that the acceleration of the work is the result of combined efforts of the various stakeholders.
In addition, the municipality of Rabat welcomed the role of the various partners, including the Agency for the development of the Bouregreg valley which mobilized the necessary funding, as well as the company Rabat Aménagement and the company of the Tramway de Rabat. -Dirty.
This project is part of the implementation of the “Rabat, city of light and cultural capital of the Kingdom” Program, intended in particular to strengthen road infrastructure and the urban transport network.
