King Mohammed VI, on his own behalf and on behalf of the royal family, and of the entire Moroccan people, expressed his most sincere condolences and expressed his feelings of sympathy for the tragedy that struck the United Arab Emirates at the following the sad news of the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates State Armed Forces, following the death of H.H. Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
In this message, the Sovereign affirms to have learned “With immense sorrow and deep regret the news, having mourned Your illustrious princely family, of the death of Your venerable brother, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates, may God surround him with His holy mercy accepts him among the virtuous faithful and welcomes him into His vast paradise”.
In this painful circumstance, the King expresses to His Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan and through him to the princely family and to the brotherly Emirati people, in His name and in that of the Moroccan people, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion. to this cruel loss, the divine will being unstoppable, “praying the Most High to grant You patience and comfort following his disappearance”.
The Sovereign says to remember, at this difficult moment, the achievements of the Deceased in favor of the State of the brother United Arab Emirates, continuing the great achievements of his late father, Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, and ensuring its modernization and development of its economic and political capacities, which has enabled the country to occupy a place of choice at the Arab, regional and international levels, and to play an active role in the defense of just Arab causes and in the consolidation of the bonds of Arab solidarity -Islamic.
The King underlines that the Kingdom of Morocco remembers, with the esteem due to the revered late, the affection and the solid bonds of fraternity and active solidarity, in happiness and misfortune, that the deceased had towards Morocco, and its great concern for the consolidation and development of the exceptional and distinguished relations linking the two brotherly countries, as well as for the strengthening of the bonds of solidarity and mutual assistance between them vis-à-vis the various crucial issues for the two countries.
The Sovereign implores God to reward the Deceased for commendable services and pioneering achievements in favor of his country and his Ummah and to surround him with His holy mercy and welcome him into his vast paradise.
The King also prays to the Almighty to preserve His Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan and his illustrious princely family from all misfortune, and to perpetuate on him the benefits of health, prosperity and long life.
