The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met on Wednesday with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, on an official visit to the Morocco at the head of a large parliamentary delegation.
The two officials, on this occasion, expressed their sad satisfaction with the excellence of the historical relations between Morocco and Serbia and the positive development they have experienced in recent years.
The two officials agreed on the ambition to intensify political consultations and develop economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Nasser Bourita, in this regard, said that Morocco represents a main partner of Serbia in Africa, while recalling the key role played by the National Assembly, through the Moroccan-Serbian Friendship Group, in strengthening bilateral relations.
For her part, Ivica Dačić wished to salute Morocco’s support for the territorial integrity of her country, while expressing Serbia’s support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
The visit of this parliamentary delegation comes a few weeks after the visit of the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, * Nicola Selakovic, to Morocco, carried out as part of the celebration of the 64th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and during which several agreements covering different areas of cooperation have been signed.
