Sekur Private Data expands into Morocco, offering secure communications solutions

In a move to strengthen data privacy and safeguard communications in Morocco, Sekur Private Data Ltd. has signed a distribution agreement for Morocco.

The partnership involves Moroccan IT services consulting firm, Digital Smart Solution Sarl (DSS), headquartered in Casablanca.

The distribution agreement targets Morocco’s 1st and 3rd largest telecom operators, along with major banking groups and government organizations, serving over 20 million mobile subscribers, including businesses representing 15% of the subscriber base.

CEO Alain Ghiai highlighted the urgent need for robust cybersecurity protocols in Morocco, as approximately 90% of African businesses lack such protection, leaving them vulnerable to cyber threats like hacking and phishing.

Sekur Private Data’s entry into Morocco aims to fortify communications security across sectors, protect intellectual property, and offer a safer digital environment for businesses and government entities in the region.

Sekur’s suite of privacy communications solutions, including the upcoming Sekur Enterprise offerings, will be introduced to the Moroccan market by DSS.

The focus will be on distributing the SekurMessenger solution to telecom operators and the banking industry, addressing the current lack of reliable private and secure messaging solutions in the region.
