Moroccan international and Atlas Lions captain, Romain Saiss, is reportedly nearing a move to Qatar’s Al-Gharafa due to not being called up in his current team, Al-Sadd, as the limit of permissible foreign players has been reached.
According to AFP sources, Saiss was initially considered by Al-Arabi, but the move to Al-Gharafa seems more likely.
The Moroccan defender had recently transferred from Turkey’s Besiktas to Al-Sadd, a deal facilitated by former Moroccan international Mehdi Benatia, but the excess of foreign players in Al-Sadd has presented a complication for Saiss.
