Luis Rubiales, the former head of the Spanish Football Association, announced he will appeal against the three-year ban handed down by FIFA on Monday over the forced kiss on the lips he gave World Cup winner Jenni Hermoso.
“I am announcing as of now that I will be appealing… I will go as far as taking the case to the highest court to ensure that justice is done and that the truth comes out,” wrote the former football strongman on X, formerly known as Twitter.
