The Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, said that the City of Trades and Skills (CMC) of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, inaugurated on Tuesday by King Mohammed VI in the city of Tamesna, is a world-class infrastructure that offers young people a very high standard of training.
“Through a complex of this quality, Morocco enters the club of champions at the international level in the field of vocational training”, indicated the minister, who said he was proud of the achievement of this structure in accordance with the vision of the Sovereign.
Sekkouri also noted the rate of integration of young people from vocational training centers into the job market remains very high, exceeding 80% and even reaching 95%.
As part of a global program which provides for the construction of 12 CMCs in the various regions of the Kingdom for an overall projected investment of 4.4 billion dirhams, the CMC of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra further enriches and strengthens the OFPPT training in the region thanks to an annual capacity of 3,560 teaching places, which will be increased to 4,560 next year thanks to the two branches attached to the Cité.
It houses 6 sectoral centers dedicated to the acquisition of business skills, with 6 integrated application platforms for immersive training focused on “learning by doing”, allowing complex scenarios, close to the reality of the company. , throughout the learning process.
