Members of both Houses of Parliament said on Friday in Rabat that King Mohammed VI’s speech at the opening of the 1st session of the 3rd legislative year of the 11th legislature defines priority social projects and underlines the depth of authentic Moroccan values, particularly in times of crisis and adversity.
In statements to the press, these MPs stressed that the parliamentary institution has a responsibility to contribute, in the light of royal directives, to the consolidation of the system of national values with a view to translating them into reality through the constitutional missions of control, legislation and evaluation devolved to it.
King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, chaired, on Friday afternoon in Rabat, the opening of the first session of the third legislative year of the 11th Legislature.
