Romain Saïss signs with Qatari club Al-Sadd for 2 seasons

The defender of the Moroccan football team, Romain Saïss, has signed up for two seasons with the Qatari club Al-Sadd.

A video broadcast by Al-Sadd shows the Moroccan defender entering the club’s stadium wearing the number 29 shirt.

“I am happy to have joined the Sadd team. I hope we will have a good time together,” said the captain of the national team in the same video.

The 2022 World Cup semi-finalist arrives in Qatar from Turkish club Besiktas for whom he played just one season.

Saïss notably played from 2016 to 2022 in Wolverhampton in England, playing 206 games and scoring 15 goals. He had previously played in France for the clubs of Angers, Le Havre, Clermont foot and AS Valence.
