German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser told EU peers Thursday her country would now back a revised migration policy package for the bloc, clearing the way for it to be adopted.
“Today we will vote in favour of this compromise, which we believe has been excellently negotiated by Spain,” Faeser told a meeting of interior ministers in Brussels. Spain currently holds the EU presidency.
