The Rabat-Salé Tramway Company (STRS) announced on Saturday that the service on this network resumes its normal service from next Monday at 6 a.m., instead of the 4 November 2021 initially announced, thanks to “the accelerated progress of construction works for the road hopper at the intersection of avenue Hassan II and avenue Al Alaouyine in Rabat ”.
This rapid return to traffic between the “Pont Hassan II” station and the “Place 16 Novembre” station was made possible thanks to “the tireless efforts of all the teams and companies involved in this project to restore service to travelers” , the company said in a statement.
The Sidi Makhlouf hopper is part of the development work for the capital and the “Rabat city of light, cultural capital of Morocco” program. The structure should facilitate road traffic to and from the Hassan II Bridge.
Finally, the Rabat-Salé Tramway Company thanked “all users for their understanding and loyalty”.
