Despite this defeat for third place, Walid Regragui who suffered from the absence of senior players, especially at the defense level, delivered a positive speech, saying that this will make his players stronger.
“We would have liked to please the Moroccan people. The players gave their all. A little disappointed by this second defeat, we did everything. Physically it was difficult, our players got tired, it was intense. We wanted to make the fans more proud,” he said, before adding:
“We will have to come back even stronger, people will be waiting for us. We are happy in the end, we are in the 4 best teams in the world”.
