Recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara: Algiers mumbles its hatred

If we stick to the lamentations of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which provided itself with a scathing press release, the recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara by Israel would only be a “headlong rush”. Algeria continues to scrutinize all Moroccan news and comment on it at every opportunity that arises. However, in practice, Algeria has severed its diplomatic relations with Morocco.

Literally the document states that “Algeria has taken note of the announcement by the Moroccan authorities of the recognition by Israel of Moroccan sovereignty over its territories in the Sahara. This act, which emanates from an occupation authority with a black record in matters of violation of international law and legality, is another step in the series of maneuvers and policy of headlong rush. of Morocco, which it describes as the “occupier” of its own lands legally recovered thanks to the Madrid Accords more than 40 years ago.

The military regime forgets that it is he who has occupied Moroccan territories since his independence and where he has precisely housed the separatist terrorist group of the Polisario.

For the regime of the senile of Algiers this decision is inscribed as ” a provocation and an unlawful act that violates international law and UN Security Council resolutions “. Take ! let’s talk about UN Security Council resolutions. In this little game, it is indeed Algiers, the instigator par excellence of this conflict and which says it is not concerned, and which refuses to submit to it by rejecting the process of the round tables among others, which constitutes a violation of the resolutions of the Security Council, without forgetting that for Algeria, the State of Israel would not exist and would not be a country recognized by the UN.

It seems interesting to note that Algeria jumps to the ceiling with each sovereign decision of Morocco or another country, or bilateral news about the Sahara. This shows to what extent Algeria is up to its neck in this case and is the only second party to the conflict.

That said, after the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there is another voice subject to the diktat of the two senile locals, that of the former Algerian ambassador to Madrid, recalled by “hugh I said” who rises and remembers the good memories of Algerian diplomacy. Abdelaziz Rahabi affirms that the project of recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over its Sahara was “programmed by the three parties United States, Morocco, Israel because it is part of a traditional warlike and expansionist doctrine of these three countries in the Middle East and North Africa”.

For its part, the separatist militia of the Polisario described Israel’s decision as “null and void”. He castigated “joint, security and military subversive maneuvers aimed at destabilizing the North African region and the Sahel”. If in the Sahel the mercenaries of the Polisario roam as they see fit, in the company of other terrorist groups this is not the case in the North African region at least in the West where it is completely secure.

Moreover, Israel’s recognition of the “Moroccanness” of the Sahara should further confirm this reality. In fact, the Polisario, which happens to be a terrorist group holding thousands of people captive, is the one that has been destabilizing the region for 50 years with the support of Algeria.

And if for Algiers and the capital of terrorism in North Africa Tindouf, the recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara is a “non-event”, for many capitals and mainly those of the Arab countries, this is only a rectification to its just historical reality, of an imposed colonial geography.

The United States and Israel were not mistaken. Besides, the American State Department reaffirmed the American position in favor of the Moroccanness of the Sahara. Asked about the recognition of Israel’s support for the territorial integrity of Morocco, the spokesman for the American Department of Foreign Affairs, Matthew Miller, highlighted the irrevocability of the American position: “ The United States took this step in December 2020. Since that time, there has been no change “. No comment!
