The University Reading Prize is launched in cooperation with the Reading Network in Morocco. Students in a university or a higher institute are invited to register to participate in the first session which will be organized as part of the activities of the first virtual exhibition of the university book, from April 20 to 27, 2021.
Thus, three prizes will be awarded in two categories. The first concerns the realization of audio recording and in which the candidate must read a Moroccan book of his choice, and this can be poetry, a novel, a story or an intellectual book.
For the second category, it is a written text providing a critical reading of a Moroccan book of your choice.
As for the conditions of participation, for the first category, it is necessary to take into account the artistic side of the audio (the sound quality and avoid any audio distortion which affects its quality); ensure that the audio is not subject to another price; and download the video via the link available below or send it by e-mail ([email protected]).
In the second category, the candidate will have to make a review of a Moroccan book of his choice, provided that the length of the text is respected, that is to say from 1000 to 2000 words in Word format, and the size of the letters which must be 14 ; uses the chosen language correctly (all languages are accepted) and gives his consent for a possible publication of his participation by the organizing committee.
