Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Monday the automation of the issuance of Exit Vouchers as part of the continued digitization of its import operations with the national single window for foreign trade procedures. (PortNet).
A press release from the company indicates that “as part of the digitization of import operations, Royal Air Maroc, the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) and the PortNet Single Window are continuing their collaboration in order to facilitate formalities and administrative procedures for the benefit of professional clients of the Compagnie Nationale ”.
And to add that following the successful implementation of digital services for the submission of summary declarations and electronic delivery of the voucher to be issued, RAM is now able to issue the voucher via PortNet.
This document, specifies the press release, is issued by RAM in favor of the importer or the forwarder and allows the latter to carry out a dematerialized collection of their goods. This operation was previously carried out manually by the carrier after verification of the completion of customs formalities and obtaining the release issued by the customs authorities. From now on, the issuance of the discharge voucher is fully automated and is carried out entirely through PortNet.
This service is operational in all of RAM’s national Freight terminals and further streamlines the exchange of information between national players in the logistics chain, while reducing the time it takes to collect goods and deliver imported goods.
