Royal Air Maroc has warned passengers that additional measures will take place upon arrival at Moroccan airports, including antigen testing for passengers over the age of 6. PCR tests will also be carried out for randomly selected passengers, the same source added.
Morocco has decided to reopen its borders after the recommendations of a scientific committee monitoring the epidemiological situation. Borders have been closed since November 29 after the appearance and spread of the new Omicron variant.
The government therefore urges all visitors to the Kingdom, Moroccans, foreign residents and tourists, to contribute positively to the successful implementation of these measures.
Reiterating its appeal to citizens to pursue responsible commitment and strict compliance with all preventive measures, the government invites them to take the planned doses quickly and to complete the vaccination schedule, in particular with the third dose, to preserve the achievements made and contribute to a gradual return to normal life in our country.
