The landscaping of the maritime promenade and the Carrousel parks in Rabat has been carried out by the subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Capital Group (ADCG), Imkan, in association with the recognized expertise of Spacecoop and Sogea-Groupe Vinci.
This is how the Emirati company Imkan, which is therefore responsible for revamping the maritime promenade and the parks of the Carrousel de la Capitale du kingdom, has entrusted the mission of the landscape design of these spaces to Spacecoop, an international firm. specializing in landscaping and environmental engineering.
“Spacecoop enjoys a worldwide reputation thanks to its sustainable, innovative and contemporary design approach which combines recognized expertise in the fields of business parks, public spaces and residential and private gardens”, indicates the subsidiary of ADCG in a press release, recalling that as part of the construction of the Carrousel, an integral part of the Rabat Corniche development project, intended to play a major role in the urban development of the capital, Imkan is continuing its approach of excellence by relying on the know-how of Spacecoop and Sogea.
And to specify: “To ensure the realization of these landscaping and guarantee the respect of the delivery deadlines of the first phase in 2022 and the second in 2024, in accordance with the proposed schedule, Imkan has also chosen to call on Sogea, already in charge of the construction of the residential part of the Carrousel ”.
The same source also indicates that the expertise of these two companies will give birth to a green lung consisting of a maritime promenade and two parks inviting to the promenade with plantations adapted to the sea air, stressing that the maritime promenade s ‘will extend over 500 linear meters with an opening to the north and south on the two parks totaling a green area of approximately 9,000 square meters.
As a reminder, Imkan’s main projects were initiated, among others, in the craftsmen district in Abu Dhabi, with the construction of a multipurpose building called Artery, which houses a residential space and a covered parking lot. This is also the Pixel project, which is the first offer formulated by the company to offer mixed-use housing.
The other flagship projects of the Emirati subsidiary are Nudra (an agglomeration of luxury villas located by the beach), but also Sheikha Fatima Park, the capital’s first urban park, as well as AlJurf, the second fully integrated residence in the Sahel Al Emarat. Several other projects, located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, include villas with timeless styles, but also land located within a preserved and natural ecosystem.
