PSG formalizes the arrival of Korean Lee Kang-In

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) formalized the arrival of Korean attacking midfielder Lee Kang-In from Mallorca this weekend.

A press release from the Parisian club specifies that “Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Lee Kang-In until 2028. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who will wear number 19, becomes the first player from the South Korean to commit to the club”.

For his part, Lee Kang-In said he was “happy to be able to join Paris Saint-Germain, it is one of the biggest clubs in the world, with some of the greatest players in the world. I can’t wait to start this new adventure,” he said.

Lee Kang-In was trained in Valencia, Spain where he arrived in 2011, before joining RDC Mallorca in 2021.

A South Korean international since 2019, he has worn his team’s jersey 14 times and notably participated in his team’s four matches at the Qatar World Cup.

He is the fourth player recruited this summer by PSG after Spanish striker Marco Asensio, Slovak central defender Milan Škriniar and Uruguayan defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
