The Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka announced Thursday in Rabat that his department is working on several projects aimed at preserving the water table through sustainable and participatory management as part of a contractual framework.

In a presentation on “water policy: achievements and perspectives” presented during the Government Council meeting by videoconference under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, the Minister underlined the importance of water as well as its vital role in from all socio-economic fields.

Likewise, he continued, Nizar Baraka highlighted the importance of water in any development process, noting that the Kingdom very early on implemented a water management strategy guaranteeing security. water, which policy was initiated by the late Sovereign, the late Hassan II and which is supported today by King Mohammed VI.
