Moroccan clubs Hassania d’Agadir, Renaissance Berkane and Raja de Casablanca will play in Group A of the African Football Confederation Cup (CAF), alongside AS Otoho of Congo, at the end of the draw on Monday (01/21/19) in Cairo.

The draw for the first and second preliminary rounds of the CAF Confederation Cup took place on Tuesday at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo.

Morocco is represented in this competition by the FUS of Rabat and the Renaissance Sportif de Berkane (RSB). In the first preliminary round, the FUS will face the Beninese club “FC Loto”, according to the draw. The first leg will take place between August 18, 19 and 20, and the return is scheduled for August 25, 26 and 27.

In case of qualification for the second preliminary round, the FUS will play against the Algerian team of the USM. As for RSB, they will start their campaign in the second qualifying round against the winner of the match between Olympique Chlef of Algeria and Pendel Enchantress of Nigeria.

The first leg is scheduled between September 15, 16 and 17, while the return will take place between September 29 and 30.

A total of 52 teams from 41 local federations are taking part in the Confederation Cup this season. Four clubs were exempted from the first preliminary round, according to their ranking and the results obtained in the last editions of the African interclub competitions.
