It was yesterday Thursday April 29 that Bank Al-Maghrib and the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) officially became partners by initialing a convention.
This agreement, which is part of the 2019-2023 strategic plan of the Central Bank, mainly aims to set up a formal framework for the exchange of data and experiences in areas of common interest of the two institutions.
“This new cooperation framework will allow the exchange of data and access to information and studies produced by the two institutions within the framework of their respective missions”, in fact highlights a joint press release from BAM and ADII which reached Hespress. FR.
The convention will also facilitate the exchange of experiences and the development of skills in statistics and data management, the same source said, adding that the agreement will open also the way to the joint realization of studies and research of an economic and financial nature.
On the side of the ADII, the press release underlines that the said convention also meets its objectives which tend in particular to contribute to the improvement of the business environment by relying in particular on the economic and financial studies carried out by its partners.
In this sense, we note that the 2019-2023 strategic plan of Bank Al-Maghrib provides in particular for the development of an economic and financial expertise center open to its environment through the expansion of partnerships and cooperation links with central banks and national and international institutions.
