In a remake of the last final won in August by the Bavarians (1-0), the French won thanks to goals from Mbappé (3rd, 68th) and Marquinhos (28th).
The goals scored in the meantime by the former Parisian Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (37th) and Thomas Müller (60th) preserve the German chances for the return match in Paris on Tuesday.
In Sevilla, Mason Mount scored the first goal before Ben Chilwell doubled the end of the game. Thanks to these two goals, the Blues are in a very good position to find the last four of the C1, which would be a first since 2014.
The return match will be played in a week, again at Sevilla FC’s Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium, for the same reasons: the health restrictions linked to Covid-19, between Portugal and the United Kingdom.
