PAP: RNIst Laila Dahi will chair the Youth Caucus

The RNIsite, Laila Dahi was elected, Saturday in Johannesburg, South Africa, president of the Youth Caucus within the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), which holds from June 27 to July 2, the ordinary session of the fifth legislature.

The deputy of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, on the occasion expressed her pride in having won the confidence of Afro-deputies to represent young people in this pan-African institution, noting that she will spare no effort to complete this difficult mission.

She also expressed her determination to serve the interests of young people in all African countries and give the image of an ambitious and developed Africa, in accordance with the will and ambition of the Kingdom of Morocco.

In addition, the vice-presidency of the Gender Commission within the PAP went to Khadija Arouhal, of the Progress and Socialism Party (PPS).

As a reminder, the Zimbabwean Fortune Zephania Charumbira, who represents the caucus of southern Africa, was elected Wednesday, president of the PAP by the members of the ad hoc Committee designated by the five regional caucuses.

It should be noted that the Moroccan delegation to this new session of the PAP includes Aydi Youssef of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), Abdessamad Haiker of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), Laila Dahi of the RNI, Khadija Arouhal of the PPS and Abahnini Mohamed of the General Union of Workers of Morocco (UGTM).
