Despite the outcry caused by the written exam for the granting of the certificate of eligibility to practice the profession of lawyer, the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, decided to ignore the challenges and circumvent the problem maintaining the date of the oral examination for the contested list of admitted.
The Ministry of Justice has announced that the oral test will take place on March 1, 2, 3 and 4, 2023, at the headquarters of the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, in accordance with the requirements of Article 7 of the Minister’s Order of Justice N° 43/MSM/2022 of September 14, 2022, according to which is regulated the method of conducting the examination for eligibility to practice the profession of lawyer for the year 2022.
Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi had previously expressed his refusal to retake the written “lawyer qualification” exam in a statement to the press, saying that “the case is settled, and it has been clarified , and the one who decides is the Minister of Justice and not the social media platforms”.
