The Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH) organized its 11th national congress from May 27 to 29, 2022, marked by a thematic colloquium on crisis management as well as the election of a new executive board. Thus, El Hassan Idrissi was elected by the congressmen at the head of the organization, succeeding Boubker Largo.
Born in 1964 in El Jadida, the new president of the OMDH is an executive of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and held the position of vice-president of the organization during the previous mandate. He is also known for his trade union, human rights and associative activities in several frameworks, in particular the National Democratic Finance Union, affiliated with the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT).
He also held the position of secretary general and vice-president of the Moroccan Network for the Protection of Public Funds.
