As part of the new roadmap relating to the development of vocational training and the creation of Cités des Métiers et des Métiers in each region of the Kingdom, the Office de la formation professionnelle et de la promotion du travail (OFPPT) s ‘associates with the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and launch “ The Entrepreneurial Innovation Program (PIE) “.
In a joint press release, the two establishments explained that this innovative educational program aims to highlight a new approach to training and support for entrepreneurship. This program will be launched, initially, in pilot regions (Souss Massa, Oriental and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) in 2021-2022 and then be extended to all regions, they specify.
In detail, OFPPT and UM6P indicate that the entrepreneurial innovation program (PIE) is a set of modules, spanning 2 years, delivered by OFPPT trainers allowing trainees to follow training and workshops ( face-to-face and virtual), to meet entrepreneurs and experts and to live immersion experiences, thus promoting the entrepreneurial spirit among young people, through 03 essential steps.
