OCP achieves the best turnover in 2021

The OCP Group has been crowned the largest Moroccan company in terms of turnover (CA) achieved in 2021, with 84.3 billion dirhams (MMDH), according to the ranking of the 500 largest Moroccan companies, unveiled Friday during the regional conference held in Rabat.

The Renault Morocco Group took second place with a turnover of 40.8 billion dirhams, followed by the National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) in third place, with a turnover of 39.2 MDH.

The top 10 companies at the national level also include Maroc Telecom (36 billion dirhams), Afriquia Smdc – Moroccan fuel distribution company (18.7 billion dirhams), Marjane Holding (13.94 billion dirhams), Vivo Energy Maroc (12.99 MMDH), TotalEnergies Marketing Morocco (12.87 MMDH), Label’Vie (11.75 MMDH) and Moroccan Tobacco Company (9.26 MMDH).

Initiated by Économie Entreprises in partnership with Kompass Maroc, the series of conference-debates organized as part of the 21st edition of the 500 was held under the theme “large Moroccan companies facing ESG standards”.

“The caravan of 500” is an invitation to large companies across the Kingdom to take ownership of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) criteria which are a guarantee of quality and sustainability and a prerequisite for developing new pillars of growth.

Through a series of regional conferences, it was attended by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), representatives of the Councils of Cities and Regions, leaders of large companies in the regions, as well as experts in liability social, sustainable development and corporate governance.
