The animated film raked in $146 million in revenue for its first weekend in theaters.
The fourth installment in the “John Wick” saga is second with $14.6 million.
The action movie “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor of Thieves” ranks third with $14.5 million.
“Air”, Ben Affleck’s latest film, takes fourth place (14.4 million).
The fifth rank is occupied by “Scream VI” with 3.3 million.
