The regions of Daraâ-Tafilalet and Guelmim-Oued Noun did not register any new cases of the coronavirus, this Monday, April 5.
The Hespress monitoring and monitoring platform, covid.hespress.com/en, details as well that Morocco now has 498,329 confirmed cases, 8,857 deaths (i.e. a mortality rate of 1.78%), 484,921 healings, a total of 5,525,727 tests (an increase of 4,027), and 4,310 ongoing cases treatment, 452 of which were in serious condition (18 under intubation).
In addition, 4,352,033 people have received a first dose of the vaccine since the launch of the campaign while 3,951,023 are on the second dose, the health ministry said.
The most affected region is that of Casablanca-Settat which has 70 new cases including 59 in Casablanca, 4 in El Jadida, 4 in Nouaceur and 3 in Settat.
The 2nd most affected region is that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which records 23 new contaminations including 7 in Rabat, 7 in Kénitra, 5 in Sidi Kacem, 2 in Salé and 2 in Skhirate-Témara.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra is followed by that of Marrakech-Safi which identifies 16 new cases including 15 in Marrakech and 1 in Youssoufia.
4th region most affected by new cases is that of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab with 6 new contaminations in Oued Ed-Dahab.
For its part, Souss-Massa notes 5 new contaminations in Agadir (4) and Tiznit (1), while that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 4 (3 in Tangier and 1 in M’diq Fnideq), at the same title that Beni Mellal-Khénifra to Beni Mellal (3) and Khouribga (1).
2 new contaminations were observed at the Oriental in the city of Nador. A new case was spotted in the regions of Fès-Meknes in Fès and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra in Boujdour.
