No new cases admitted to REA in the last 24 hours

In Morocco, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds stands this Saturday, May 12 at 0.3%. Thus, the total number of severe cases in the Kingdom stands at 18 cases, with no new cases admitted in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reports in its daily epidemiological report. At the national level, the report also reports 8 cases under artificial respiration and zero intubated cases.

In 24 hours, Morocco carried out 7,760 tests, bringing the national total of tests carried out since the start of the pandemic to 11,555,386. In addition, Morocco has not recorded any deaths from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the national total of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 16,071. The fatality rate is still stable at 1.4%.

Morocco recorded during the 24 hours from Thursday 3 p.m. to Friday 3 p.m., 81 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, for a national total since the start of the epidemic of 1,165,706 proven contaminations.

On the vaccination side, 24,816,239 people have been vaccinated since the launch of the campaign, including 23,295,840 who received the 2nd dose, and 6,318,712 the 3rd dose, said the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. Similarly, no deaths were recorded, against 12 new remissions.

Morocco now has 1,165,706 confirmed cases, 1,149,015 recoveries, 16,071 deaths, 620 active cases, including 18 in serious condition (0 under intubation and 8 under artificial respiration), further notes the monitoring and monitoring platform of MoroccoLatestNews, www.moroccolatestnews.com.
