The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has denied allegations that it is trying to induce Spanish-Moroccan player Lamin Yamal to join the Moroccan national team with financial incentives.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the FRMF said that the allegations, which were published by the Spanish sports newspaper AS, are “completely false” and “do not have any basis in reality.”
The FRMF said that it respects the right of Amin Yamal to choose his international future and that it would never try to influence his decision in any way.
The AS report claimed that the FRMF was offering Yamal a lucrative contract in an attempt to persuade him to change his decision.
