Nicolas Fouquet appointed CEO of Air France-KLM in Morocco for the North Africa-Sahe region

Nicolas Fouquet has been appointed, since September 1, 2021, Managing Director of Air France KLM for the North Africa-Sahel region based in Casablanca.

“He succeeds Pierre Muracciole who ceased his duties as Chief Executive Officer of Air France-KLM for the region on the same date,” indicates a press release from Air France-KLM, specifying that this region includes 7 countries, namely the Morocco, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Tunisia.

Mr. Fouquet started his career in Morocco at Maroc Aviation and Bureau Veritas Maroc, before joining Air France-KLM in December 2000.

He held several positions within Air France-KLM, notably the Europe & North Africa Soils Operations Department before taking on the Operations Department of the Paris-Charles de Gaulle HUB, in charge of the operational management of 760 daily flights.

“With more than 20 years of experience in the field of air transport, he is recognized both as an expert in operational management in complex environments and for his ability to lead transformation programs and improvement of customer treatment” , underlines the press release.

A graduate of the National School of Civil Aviation as an Engineer / Aeronautical Techniques, Mr. Fouquet is married and father of 2 children.
