Nearly 700 journalists provide media coverage of the event

Nearly 700 accredited journalists in Morocco and abroad cover the 15th edition of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), organized from May 2 to 7 in Meknes, around the theme “Green Generation: For food sovereignty sustainable “.

The newspapers of the national written press are represented during this edition which knows a mass coverage of several television channels, both national and international, as well as radio and electronic newspapers, specified the organizers.

Deployed over an area of ​​18 hectares (Ha) including 11 Ha covered, SIAM, which is one of the largest events in Africa dedicated to agriculture and actors in the agricultural sector, is an unmissable event to present the Morocco’s progress in the field and confirm the crucial role played by the sector as one of the major levers of economic growth.

Organized under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the 15th SIAM offers thousands of visitors, both professionals and the public, a range of products and state-of-the-art agricultural machinery capable of promoting agricultural and animal production and enhancing key sectors of the regional economy, including agri-food.

This edition, marked by the participation of more than 68 countries, houses, for the first time, the “Village Start-ups” Pavilion, a new center set up on the initiative of the general commissioner of the Show and which welcomes around thirty national and international start-ups around a program combining round tables, conferences and immersive demonstrations.

The United Kingdom is the country of honor for this 2023 edition, which marks the return of this international mass after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 crisis.
