The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, received a delegation from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) on Wednesday in Rabat.
In a statement to the press after this interview, the head of political affairs within the AJC, Jason Isaacson, said that the talks with Bourita focused in particular on regional stability, peace and the importance relations between the United States and Morocco, “a state with the longest diplomatic relationship with our country” and which “shares the same values” with the United States of America.
He added that the members of the delegation discussed with Bourita “the common interests between our community and the Moroccan people as well as the sovereignty of the Kingdom over the Moroccan Sahara”.
Isaacson also said that Morocco “made history” under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, by signing the Abrahamic Accords and resuming relations with Israel.
