Moroccan striker Soufiane Benjdida, under contract until June 2024 with Raja Athletic Club (RAC), is set to join Standard de Liege, Belgian daily “Le Soir” reported on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old player will soon be able to undergo the physical and medical tests scheduled in Liège before initiating the four-year contract, “which has been negotiated for some time now,” the newspaper reports.
Launched by Marc Wilmots into the Raja first team, Benjdida will initially be assigned to SL16 FC, the belgian club’s second professional team, adds the same source.
The promising Moroccan international was one of the revelations of the Botola in 2022, with 4 goals and two assists.
